How do people qualify for financial aid? The College of Cosmetology is an accredited school and can offer Federal Financial aid. This means that we can offer Direct Student Loans and the Pell Grant for those who qualify.  During our enrollment process we will give the student a financial aid application or you can fill out a fafsa online at www.fafsa.gov.  Our school code is 014006. The student will also receive a one on one appointment with a financial aid advisor to determine if and what they qualify for in financial aid.        I don’t live with my parents, am I still a dependant? You are declared a dependant student if you do not meet one of the following criteria: at least 24 years of age, married, have children, in the armed forces or are  a ward of the court.  Does the school place graduates in jobs? The College of Cosmetology cannot guarantee placing students in a job after graduation but we do help them to find jobs after graduation. We will let them know which salons we know are hiring as well as helping them to make their resumes to help them to land those jobs. What age groups attend your school; will I be the oldest student in school? The College of Cosmetology has had students who range from age 18 to 70 years old.
